WATAGAN GRANGE
Introducing Watagan Grange
At the end of 2006 my amazing parents purchased a
fantastic 62 acre property at the foot of the Watagan
Mountains in the picturesque Congewai Valley 10 minutes
out of Cessnock in the Lower Hunter Valley of NSW.
My parents have had a long involvement with horses.
My mum was a professional Western Rider, who won numerous
State and National awards. She rode and trained horses
for many years. With Dad being a Master Farrier, I
guess that it was always in my genes to be a professional
horse woman.
“Watagan Grange” has a relaxed and welcoming
atmosphere. In the mornings the fog slowly lifts over
the surrounding mountains to reveal the deep greens
of the valley as far as the eye can see. It is a wonderfully
serene place to work the horses.
