Rebel on Bear

One good thing came out of EI in 2007. I got to meet the Roos and Clark family from Hervey Bay. Because of the shut down of events, these guys had to venture north for something to occupy their kids, hence they landed at one of my clinics at Rockhampton. After a great weekend, Lyndal Roos took the rein and now hold their own clinics at the Pony Club grounds in Hervey Bay.

Bear Roos is another very little person that always is full of animation, smiles, enthusiasm and regularly we partake in a debate, of anything really, whether it’s the colour of the poles, the direction or line we should be taking, or the order in which we ride the fences.

Mikhaela has a super upper body position, she sits tall before and after the fence, so never loses her balance. Her loose legs let her down at times, but I never let her down in yelling at her when they’re flapping in the wind. Bear was born on Melbourne Cup Day, so that might explain the bad habit of going toooo fast on little blackie!!!

Stay as you are little Bear, you keep me on my toes and never let me cut corners in my teaching, hence I return the favour to you.
