Attending and participating in Rebel Morrow’s clinics, where to start? They are an experience that you will never forget, you will gain knowledge from the champ herself (of course), have a massive adrenaline rush and have a fun, safe and great time.
Rebel held a cross country clinic at the Samford Golden Valley Pony Club on the 12th of September 2009, and everyone had a great time. Over one day Rebel took both young and older riders, those who were just learner riders and those who were more experienced on small and great horses, around the Samford cross country course to share her knowledge. At a Rebel clinic you are never pressured into doing anything you do not want to do, though if Rebel believes you and your horse are ready to try a bigger jump, she will encourage you to take a deep breath and give it a go.
When I first participated in a clinic with Rebel it was at the Warwick summer school, where I had never jumped cross country on my new boy. We had nominated for the chickens class (6ocm), though Rebel believed after a round of jumps that myself and my horse were capable of riding the massive, solid and daunting prelim jumps. Of course at first I was scared out of my wits, and wanted to shut my eyes, but Rebel would tell me “you will be fine, take a deep breath and go for it” so I did. It was the most amazing feeling, as I had only been jumping logs on the ground and was now soaring over these massive jumps, though after going over a couple I just wanted to go over all of the prelim jumps! Rebel doesn’t just teach you skills, she builds your confidence and encourages you to believe and trust not only in yourself but your horse as well.
Rebel Morrow’s clinics are an experience that you will never forget, you learn new skills and learn to trust and believe in yourself and your horse, they are a massive adrenaline rush and you have a fun, safe and great time.
Thank you so much Rebel.
